Eating tips




drink water - lots of water

drink coffee - caffeine is a appetite depressant, its also a stimulant so it will give you energy so you can burn off more calories and excess fat.

 


diet coke contains cafeen too
however, try to avoi too many fizzy drinks as they bloat you


drink fruit juice - it keeps you full most of the day, but dont drink more than 200ml (a portion) because fruit juice contains empty calories

 

drink sugar free or low calorie drinks

 


 

 


If you eat a sandwich made up of 'carbohydrate and protein' ('bread and meat') you will make it a very long time before being hungry again.
But if you eat only carbohydrates without anything else
(like if you eat just a biscuit or cake, which is mostly just sugar)  you'll be hungry in a few hours.

 


vegetable soup is a great low calorie meal or 'cup-a-soup' (packet soup which you add hot water too"
however avoid"creamed " varieties which contain more calories

 

drink enough water so you are completely hydrated.
other wise your body cannot function properly.
People sometimes misinterpret hunger for being really thirsty.
Energy is dependent on all the metabolic functions running properly and the No. 1 ingredient for that is water.

 

when you feel hungry or tired drink some water,
because sometimes your actually thirsty and/or dehydrated instead of hungry

 


Coffee and Caffeine are natural. Skip the mocha/capachino/frappachinio though because they contain lots of cream and sugar which are full of calories!


Coffee is a great 'pick me up'. It perks you up, wakes you up, gets you and keeps you going, and it helps you stay more mentally alert.


the longer you sleep the more calories you burn from sleeping. and theres less time in the day for eating. also the more hours a nights sleep you get the less hungry you get in the day.
so the longer you sleep the thinner you get. This is a scientific fact which has been scientificaly provenso get at least the recommended 8 hours of sleep a day.

 


Carbohydrates are the bodies preferred energy source. There are two main kinds of carbohydrate:
1;starches (which occur naturally in potatoes, grains and pulses)
starches give slow release energy
2; sugar (which occur naturally in fruit, honey and milk).
sugars give quick release energy
Quick release carbohydrates release glucose (energy) quickly so therefore give a sudden burst of energy followed by a slump in energy levels.
Slow release carbohydrates release glucose (energy) slowly so therefore provide a more sustained and gradual energy release.
So its better to eat slow release carbohydrates than quick release carbohydrates to keep energy levels stable.

Avoiding eating tips:

 

when your hungry, curl into a ball, it suppresses hunger pains, or hit your stomach, or massage/rub your stomach

 

If you've got parents that are always wanting to eat with you,
join a club or take up a sport that gets in the way of eating with your parents.

 

say you just brushed your teeth. Food tastes nasty right after brushing.

 


Tell your parents that your going to eat with your friends.
Then go to your friends house and say you already ate at home.

 

Everyone knows that it hurts to chew when you've got a tooth ache, so complain that your teeth hurt. Really play it up if you've got braces.

 

Don't bring up the subject of food around other people, because they will then want to eat.

 

Have your excuses for not eating ready, incase they should bring the subject up. E.g.:
My stomach's a little upset.
I'm too (tired, excited, nervous, busy) to eat.
I'll get something later.
I did eat didn't you see? I stopped by (Burger King, Subway) earlier,and know what you supposedly ordered.

 

Buy a bag of chips and pour them in the trash can. Then leave the bag on the kitchen counter.
Do the same thing with candy bars, ice cream wrappers, etc.

 

to avoid lunchtime hardships:
go to the nurse for cramps.
go to the library.
get lunch detention.
hang out in the bathroom.
tell your friends that your mom is taking you out for a special lunch right after school
pretend to eat.
talk to your teachers.
do your homework at the table (no one will bother you if you look into it)

 

excuses for family dinners:
sleep through it
say your doing homework and have dinner delivered to your room pretend to eat it but throw it away.

 

If you're being watched, try the opaque cup trick;
pretend you're eating, and spit the food in the cup while you pretend to be drinking
don't forget to get rid of what's in the cup
(pop cans work the best because they can't be seen through)

 

here is one that really works. wear a hoodie to dinner.
play around with your food when people are watching,
(put your empty fork in your mouth or cut up your food).
but when no ones looking, grab your food and put it into your hoodie pocket.
then after dinner, dispose of the food.


phone your parents and tell them you'll come home a later
because you are going to McDonald's or Burger King with your friends.


if you feel hungry paint your nails! then you cant go to get food. and by the time they are dry your craving should have gone.


wear lipgloss because no one wants to eat food with lipgloss on.

 

or drop food onto your lap - but make sure you have a napkin on your lap to both catch the food and so you can wrap the food up discreetly and chuck the napkin away and no one will care because they think its just a napkin.

or put food in your pockets - as long as its dry food this should work ok

dont eat with your family - go eat in your room so u dont have eat all your food and can hide it and chuck it away later

 

fitness/exercise tips

take the stairs instead of the elevator

 


just walk around the building/block a few times

sore for days barely makes you break a sweat, it’s time to up
the intensity. Instead of logging in your regular half hour on the
treadmill at a steady 4.5 mph pace, try 5mph pace and/or
take your workout on the road and use the terrain to act as
intervals. Run in the sand or up hills and use landmarks to
signify a change of pace.



cold showers burn 100-200 calories per degrees because your body has to use more energy to stay warm/warm up

4. if you actually eat something try doing this

always have food with you so people think that you've been munching all day.
Don't show off your weight loss until you've reached the weight you want to remain at.
People will start to watch you more carefully and  ask questions,
you want to avoid drawing attention to yourself

How to Purge:

Everyone has their own special ways


-curve ur choice of middle finger downwards towards the back of ur throat.

-dont immediatly start heaving. Take a sec to see what's going on back there...

-you'll feel a small flap the the back of ur tongue...

-that flap goes up and down, down for you to swallw food, and up to breathe...

-that flap is gonna want you to not put ur finger down ur throat.

-i continue to irritate the flap by pushing it back and forth, that makes me gag...

-some can just move the flap and stick their finger down their throat, gaging.

-this is why you stop for a second to see what's going on back there and to see what would work for you.

-if it doesn't work immediatly. Pause. Think about how sick u wanna be. Think about those awesome jeans you want to fit it, think of that while ur gaging urself.

-heave.

-congrats, now ur thinner!!!

 


when you go to throw up instead of doing it in the bathroom, go to your room, and crank up your music lock the door and throw up into the bag, then just wait till the cost is clear and dispose of it.

 

Drink a ton of water before and after you eat, it makes it come up better.



bubbly water is even better and can help it come up faster

 

Don't eat grainy food. It's harder to get up. It's easy to get up creamy food and stuff that isn't too heavy.

 

It's not so easy to hide when you live with someone. It's easy to do at work or school.


make sure you let food sit in your stomach long enough for your brain to register that you're full. Once it does that, and sends the neurotransmitters telling you that you're full, then you can throw up and not get hungry again.


If you don't like using your finger to purge try a toothbrush- it goes back further and it works better for me plus your hands dont get dry or dirty.


running sink and shower and fan at the same time so your parents do not hear


 
A good mia tip when living with family is to offer to do the dishes, then purge into the sink, down the garbage disposal before you wash the dishes, then scrub the sink out. Your friends and family wont suspect anything if you don't go to the bathroom after dinner.



After purging you should brush your teeth straight away, so no-one can smell sick on your breath


Always make sure you clear up all traces of sick after purging, so no-one become suspisios. Because you cant always say your ill if they find out, however saying you feel ill if they discover sick should work a few times.


Spoons are good for purging, they are longer and curve slighty for a better fit and reach.

 


Always tie your haire back before you purge instead of holding it. It keeps it out the way, and if your not holding it back you have both hands

 


Teeth Care

Fasting/Anorexia

Anorexia  Can lead to a deficiency of vitamins and minerals.
Calcium deficiency can result in osteoporosis, a rise in blood pressure, and oral health problems such as periodontal disease and eventual tooth loss.
While the tooth enamel is usually formed by age 6, the cementum and dentin - the tissues inside the tooth - continue to require calcium throughout adulthood.
 
Eat crunchy foods - the detergent action scrapes plaque off teeth.
A lack of crunchy foods increases the need for more diligent home oral hygiene procedures.

Take a multiple vitamin daily, including a calcium supplement.

Eat dairy products - it's the best source of calcium, but try reaching for low-fat dairy products.

Try other good calcium sources - leafy green vegetables, calcium-fortified tofu,
and the soft bones of fish such as sardines or salmon.
 


Bulimia/Purging

Bulimia is often first discovered by the dentist.
Vomiting can cause the erosion of the backside of the upper front teeth sometimes within days of the first vomiting episode.

Purging weakens the tooth structure, and brushing immediately afterward increases enamel wear.

If preventative measures are not taken, the dentin, the softer inner tooth structure, is affected.

Sugar found in refined carbohydrates such as junk food further contribute to tooth structure damage.

Neutralize stomach acids in the mouth immediately after purging to help protect teeth.

Instead of brushing right away, the most effective treatment is rinse with a fluoride rinse.

Use a counter-acting paste, such as baking soda and water, and rub it on the teeth after vomiting to neutralize the acid.
After 30 seconds, rinse the paste off and proceed to brush, floss and then use mouthwash to refresh the mouth.

When that is not possible, rinse the mouth with water after purging.

Frog

Not its better to do more slowly than less quickly. Slow ones pull and stretch muscles more.
